A former car salesman will be the guest of honour at a new business networking event this week. The 27-year-old, who worked at the Sunwin Renault dealership in Preston Riversway's motorpark before appearing on the show, will join members of the private sector lobby group at The Chop House on Winckley Square on Thursday night. Group chairman Frank McKenna will quiz the Lancastrian, who told the Evening Post he believed his accent led to him being fired from the show by tycoon Sir Alan Sugar, about his new business interest as the head of a communications firm, IT Solutions Ltd. The event will run from 6pm; for further information visit www.downtownpreston.com.
